Our Program

Our Training Season considers a student's long-term fulfillment.

Our Six week Training Season brings students into an environment focused on long-term outcomes. Our mentoring model builds competency in work and life skills through the practice of servant leadership. This presents a balanced understanding of a mutually beneficial relationship between those who lead and those who follow. Along with skills specific to a trade, life and leadership skills are structured into the program to truly capture as many possibilities for future growth. The program's basic outline includes one week on each end for orientation and wrap-up, which ends with a project students complete to graduate.

Week 1: Orientation begins with 2 days of leadership development focused on a new way of understanding who you are and the value you bring.
Weeks 2 - 5: Hands on training in skill area, and a weekly visit by a business owner to discuss the job and skills they are seeking in employees. There is also one week set aside for business skill development. Some students may join one of our partner businesses to develop skills in a different area.
Week 6: Students will be complete their project or assignment to present the last week for graduation.
